Ban vs Reality: Dhurandhar Still Watched

Dhurandhar: The Revenge, directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh released worldwide on March 19th 2026.

Though banned in Pakistan and some Gulf countries pirated copies appeared online within hours. Many viewers in Pakistan watched the film through illegal platforms like torrents, Telegram and VPNs.

The issue gained attention when journalist Khalid Mehmood Khalid shared a video of himself watching the film in Lahore showing a pirated copy.

Similar piracy was seen with the first film too.

The ban is linked to political concerns over the film content. In India the Madras High Court took action to stop illegal streaming and warned that piracy could cause major financial losses to the producers.
